When I log into my fx wallet then go to margin x swap and try to connect my wallet it doesn’t connect. This happened after the last update. It doesn’t work for mobile anymore but it works on my computer.

Hey @Babyking , try to clear your cache in the fxwallet and see if it works.

The dev team found no issue.

Try without vpn and clear your cache.

i cannot connect from FxWallet in Android. to 2 friends happends the same from FxWallet.

From FxWallet to Computer with wallet connect i can YES.

But from wallet inside not.

Ok, I think I found a common issue with all the users who had the same issue.

@Babyking are you using android as well?

The 4 others who have the same issue are using android and have trouble connecting within the app.

@SCENE yes I’m using android. I don’t use VPN and I cleared my caches and it still doesn’t work. I tried it on my Xbox and my computer and it worked.

The team is on it, no worries. :+1:

Hi.

I wanted to let know i have connection issue on my Android phone.

  1. Can’t connect to MarginX. After pressing the connect to f(x)wallet options, nothing happens.

  1. Can’t connect to f(x)Core proposals.
After clicking “authorize” no connection is made

Both in app on Samsung Galaxy A51, android 13

Edit: clear cache and reboot didn’t help.

Dear Jan,

Could we know the version of f(x)Wallet you were using? To get the version code, go to Settings > Other > About f(x)Wallet

The latest version is 4.0.2, which includes the fix for the Margin X connection issue.

For the Proposal connection issue, your providing version code could help our testing engineer reproduce the issue. Thanks.

Hi Chloechloe.

Thank you for reply.

The issue is solved, don’t know how, but it is.
I already updated to latest version, after wich the issue occured for some days.

But it works now, maybe i had some overal connection issue orso, i have no clue
Sorry for not letting know in this chat that my problem solved itself.
Anyway thanks again and have a great day.

Regards
Jan

sometimes after updates a reboot of everything app / device will resolve most issues, in extreme times sometimes data gets sort of a blockage in the pipes, the best resolve then is to delete the app, reboot re-install the app and wallet, then re-boot everything again, sometimes clearing the cache is enough but most times the fastest way is to reset the wallet.

obviously you already fixed your issue so this is just a reference for everyone not all issues are an issue with the updates - but a lock up of data.

In my early days (80s before home desktop PC’s) with computers we had work computers network linked & it wasn’t uncommon for the data to get locked up between device’s, where cutting the power and rebooting everything was the only resolve - Key part being the power cut for a time needed of power in the lines to go out, in order to drop the blockage.

powering down your device is this trigger. worked for me many times; could be useless info or outside the logic for some people but there it is, "Don’t forget to Back up your seed Phrases before doing a reset! "
