Service Update: Cross-Chain/Airdrop Service Restored

Due to node disk space issues, our cross-chain/airdrop service was temporarily suspended for 12 hours last night. The service is now back online.

My cross chain bridge transaction from ETH->FX didn’t go through today after 6h being stuck at Approved, is this can be related? Update: Now 23h ago. I think cross-chain service is still not working.

Is your transaction listed here?

The latest ones are from 2 days ago although I think none of it went through.

I don’t think it’s there. It’s at this link: https://etherscan.io/txs?a=0x8c15ef5b4b21951d50e53e4fbda8298ffad25057&ps=100 stuck at Approve status. I don’t know what suppose to happen after that. It was ETH->FX cross-chain transfer using the official app and its bridge feature.
I’ve created separate post about it post 2 days ago, but it was not approved yet.
So what happens after transaction is at Approve, somebody needs to manually accept it? Or some script is not processing it in the background?
I’ve read source code at 0x8c15ef5b4b21951d50e53e4fbda8298ffad25057, and there is pause() and approve(), so I guess owner of the contract needs to approve it if the transfer is paused which I guess it is.
I really don’t want to reverse engineer smart contracts to find out what’s going on with the transfer which suppose to take only few minutes, so I just want my transaction pushed forward and unexpectedly it got stuck for few days. I was thinking couple of times if I did something incorrectly, but I think I did everything I suppose to do.
So I can only hope it’s related to this mentioned service not being online again.

My other post was finally approved, it’s at Transfer FX via cross-chain bridge stuck for already few days [ETH->FX]

Usually, for first time bridgers, the user need to “Approve” and then do the official transaction.

The steps are:

  1. Approve for permission
  2. Officially do the intended transaction

It looks like your tokens are still in your wallet, indicating that you’ve only completed Step 1. Please try sending them again.

  • Do note that “Approvals” are a one-time tx so you won’t have to do it again the next time.

Second retry doesn’t work, it’s not detecting the positive balance anymore (it’s 0), despite it’s showing on the wallet.

On the explorer, your tokens are still in your wallet so you can be assured it’s safe.

I forwarded the bridge issue yesterday but the team is busy prepping for Token2049.

I’m not sure if the web browser bridge for Ethereum is working but you can try via web browser as an alternative for now till the dev sees it.

I think there should be some status page to check when services are online, as at this point it’s not clear.

@lancelai Any update whether the service is still down?

Bridge seems fine.

Try using the web browser.

Hi, this thread is informing that the service has been restored and is back online. If you are still experiencing issues, please send us the transaction hash here for us to check. Thanks!

I’ve posted at Transfer FX via cross-chain bridge stuck for already few days [ETH->FX] and sent e-mail 3 days ago (no respond), it’s still not working.

Is your f(x)Wallet up-to-date?

The bridge is working.

If your f(x)Wallet can’t detect your balance, maybe it needs to be updated.

  • If it’s already the latest version, try the web browser.
  • Lastly, if web browser can’t detect your token balance, import your key onto Metamask for the time being to do your transaction if urgent.
