Any reply from the team on the Verifone news?
Do you still have a partnership with them?

+1, curiuos too
It will accept payments only from specific wallets, can’t use wallets of our choice. But still a competition.
@pedrosanches I believe you knew more about this
It’s a device, they can adapt the Xpos software whenever the requirement or more likely the regulated environment allows or the profitability suits their expectations, keep an open mind the POS environment will switch and change like the wind they are a business their allegiance it where the Profits are trending, Pundi X Chain will move us to a decentralized and independent eco system, Pundi is also a multi network payment provider many doors have yet to be unlocked, just because a provider announces the use of one payment solution dose not mean they won’t apply more, no different to like Pay pal is connected to credit cards, bank and Crypto and other payment service including Pundi Xpos, Pundi is a payment provider with a twist their priority is crypto used as crypto living in the Defi crypto environment; never the less they are a real BlockChain DeFi Payment solution provider which means their goals are to supply all payment solutions they can apply to their eco system, Next phase is to get the most important part of what pundi has been aiming for so long which is PUNDIX and Xpos on their own eco system this will allow the project to set the rates to merchant usage to better entice the POS providers to also adopt Pundi Xpos apps & services as well along side of other payment services; this is not a one horse takes all race.
I still see Verifone in this video released last week
as I said just because a provider announces the use of one payment solution dose not mean they won’t apply more
https://youtu.be/lKItWpXpjjE latest Pundi interview also mentions Verifone usability
Also one region is different than another what apply in USA can’t apply in Asia or Africa, different government rules, requests and laws as well as business agreement’s.
Beside first word from verifone came out from Asia regional manager not other justrications but this makes it clear there is new step coming from verfione as company into crypto.
noted one write up say’s they can use bitpay on the devices there, dose not say it’s implemented anywhere, No different to Xpos could be installed; it’s still up to the Merchant to choose their services
All these responses are more or less correct. We’ve worked with the VeriFone team to create technical integration for their X990 model. It’s use has been driven by particular distributors in response to particular market demands.
